The ocean is always communicating; it's a dictionary with no definitions. Sometimes it whispers, sometimes it sings.
Ocean Full of Words is Elisa’s latest multidisciplinary collection, created through the integration of mixed-media materials gathered along the coasts of Aruba. Incorporating oceanic findings, textiles, and silkscreen prints, the series unfolds across multiple canvases that function as modular building blocks, each contributing to a unified visual and conceptual whole.
Inspired by the ocean’s tranquility and vastness, Elisa explores themes of peace, contemplation, and connection to nature. The sea serves as both her sanctuary and her source of creativity. This body of work stands as a tribute to the ocean, an homage to its meditative power and its enduring influence on the artist’s practice.
